We have a dug a variety of sites, a few of these have been on Storrs Common and have not been mentioned here as yet (perhaps in time they will all be documented), below are a couple of other minor sites that have been examined and / or dug since late 2001.
| A Stream Sink : | A small stream sink that takes a reasonable amount of water in the wet. Initial investigations in March 2011 revealed more work needed to gain more solid surroundings. To be looked at again at some point in the future. |
| Toadint Hole : | Shakehole with small hole spotted, initial prodding in March 2011 revealed tight top dropping a metre or so to slightly wider passage with a sloping soil/mud floor. Would need a fair bit of work to proceed further. |
| Sting Hole : | Site lost and hasn't been relocated. A sticky-muddy slope led down to a small draughting hole in the floor, round to the right the passage continued, possibly ending too tight. Length : ~6m. |
| Hopping Henry Hole : | A small stream sink, hole was cleared of boulders and solid rock found, but looked too tight to follow. The shakehole sides have a tendancy to slump. |
| Lancaster Hole : | At the bottom of Bridge Hall a draughting slope led to a partly choked rift, over the course of two short digging trips the choke was passed and the slope descended to join a side passage of the Graveyard. We are unsure if this was ever achieved before us and probably hasn't been since as the slope slumped a while after and blocked the connection again. In August 2011, by the side of the slope a route was forged passing a large rock blocking the original way through. It remains very loose and highly liable to slump and block access. |
