Notts Pot

The weather has been fantastic most of the week for Eurospeleo, but the final day was a wet one. We opted for Notts Pot, which had two routes rigged: Left Hand and Centre.
When we got to the entrance there were two guys from North Wales just about to descend. They went down the Left Hand route, so we went for the Centre Route, a very enjoyable SRT trip with quite a few rebelays. We got down into the stream at the same time as the others and, despite heavy rain on the day, the final few pitches to the sump were fine. We headed back up the Left Hand Route. These pre-rigged trips are very fast.
Now I’m just sitting in my tent waiting for the spectacular Closing Ceremony.
