Good news and bad news. Matienzo will not be going ahead this year, due to Covid worries and the age of both the cavers and the local population. However, some good news the planned Berger trip WILL be going ahead (subject to reciprocal relaxing of rules in France). Sign up on the forum and someone will be in touch you don’t have long! Berger training trip this weekend 04/07/2020 Notts pot. We also will be running rescue training location TBC 18/07/2020.
As usual members will be visiting Matienzo to explore new caves, but this time it is special as it is the 60th celebrations taking place on 8th and 9th of August. Perhaps after visiting the Berger members may wish to pop in and say hello! Your’s truly (Alex) will be there and Chris & Carol too.

Some members of the club plan to go down the Berger this year to join in with the annual clean up that takes place there. Please speak to Chris Sharman if you wan’t to know more. Open to all current Black Rose members.
