    Good trip report Ales and welcome to the forum.
    Nobody has said anything about my black eye today, so either it’s not obvious or people just assume I get into a lot of fights and me having a black eye isn’t even worth commenting on.

    Good report.
    I think I’ve been in Swinsto when it’s been wetter than that, but never colder. My feet (and hands, and knees) were also completely numb.
    There was so much snow in the entrance to Turbary Pot I had to clear some out of the way before I could get in. I’m glad we did that one too; it’s definitely a worthwhile addition to the day.

    Isn’t the second tight squeeze the Stripper? I think the Gripper is the climb down to stream level before it, which isn’t very hard.

    I agree entirely.
    I tried to edit my post when I realised what a ridiculous final paragraph I had written, but was unable to.
    I am very sorry. I have let myself down with this trip report.
