Me and Darren Jarvis later joined be Chris Shaman went into Skirwith of our appointed task to move all the boards under the water which we duly did. Chris missed the first half hour or so due to needing a puncture repaired, having parked on a nail outside of Inglesport.

After the trip we took a quick look in the lower entrance which was quite entertaining before heading off home (We were all far too cold to be bothered to change back into caving gear for Rowton)

    Some feedback…

Thanks for all your work Alex – please pass that on to Chris and Darren. Thanks Duncan for organising things!, John

    Cheers Alex.

I owe you lads a breakfast in Ingleton!

    Regards

You did a good job in there!

I’m really pleased that it was the Black Rose who kicked off this project, as you’ve had it on your Descent “Adopt A Cave” list for a long time. I reckon once the work’s complete the cave will look far better!

    Cheers,

    John

    Nice to be appreciated :)

Managed to go caving with my phone in my fleece pocket – and it survived, despite the wet crawl.
Hopefully it’ll be warmer next week.
    Good video
